Named after the renowned English architect Sir Christopher Wren, Chris began his architectural journey humbly as an office assistant at the prestigious William Rawn Associates in Boston, Massachusetts. Initially tasked with administrative duties, including fetching Bill Rawn’s lunch, Chris was told that his role would not involve design work. However, his unwavering determination and exceptional work ethic quickly allowed him to surpass those limitations, making meaningful contributions to several high-profile projects.

Building on this early success, Chris expanded his expertise at some of the most esteemed architectural firms in the country, including Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. At Pei Cobb Freed, he developed a versatile skill set by working on projects across the globe. His portfolio includes orchestrating complex hospital projects for Yale New Haven Health, designing twisting skyscrapers in Jerusalem, and crafting boutique hotel gems along the coast of Maine. Whether working on large-scale developments or intimate designs, Chris's hallmark is his meticulous attention to detail and his ability to create a profound design impact.

Recognizing the importance of financial stewardship in design and development, Chris broadened his expertise by joining LePatner Project Solutions, where he was mentored by renowned construction lawyer Barry LePatner. Chris quickly rose to lead the Project Management Practice, consulting with some of the world’s leading developers and lenders on design and construction management. This experience further honed his ability to seamlessly integrate design and development, skills he now brings to CR Design.
