As the Lead Competition Designer for the Park Avenue Health Outpatient Center, Christopher Reynolds spearheaded the development of the winning design proposal for this high-profile $100M project. His role encompassed everything from conceptual design to team management, delivering a visionary and technically robust solution that set the proposal apart from the competition.
Key Contributions:
Lead Competition Designer: Christopher led the entire competition design process, conceptualizing and developing the outpatient center’s architectural and urban strategy. His vision blended cutting-edge healthcare design with a strong urban presence, positioning the project as a transformative addition to the community.
Winning Design Proposal: He developed the successful proposal for this $100M project, ensuring the design met the client’s vision for functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability while responding to site constraints and urban context.
Produced Diagrams, Photography & Renderings: Christopher personally produced all the project’s diagrams, photography, and renderings, ensuring that the design was clearly and compellingly communicated to the competition jury.
Managed the Competition Team & Schedule: As the competition lead, he managed a multidisciplinary team of designers, consultants, and visualizers. Christopher set the project schedule, ensuring that all deliverables were completed on time while maintaining high design standards.
Conceptual Design of 500-Space Parking Garage: In addition to the outpatient center, Christopher conceptualized a 500-space parking garage, integrating it seamlessly into the overall site design and ensuring that it met both functional and urban design goals.
Programming & Site Design: Christopher developed the programmatic strategy for the outpatient center, aligning healthcare spaces with user needs and creating an inviting and efficient facility. He also led the site design, ensuring a harmonious relationship between the building, parking garage, and surrounding environment.
